Snip & Extract Privacy Policy

Overview
Snip & Extract is a Windows screenshot and OCR utility developed by MasoomDev. It is designed to process screen captures and recognised text locally on your computer.
Screen captures
When you choose to capture a screen region, the app processes the selected screen image. You can save an image to a location of your choice or copy it to the Windows clipboard.
OCR and extracted text
Text extraction uses Windows OCR facilities on your device. Extracted text is displayed for you to review, edit or copy. The app does not require an online OCR service.
Data collection
The current app does not include MasoomDev user accounts, advertising SDKs, or analytics tracking, and does not intentionally transmit screenshots or extracted text to MasoomDev servers.
Storage
Files you choose to save remain on your device until you delete them. Clipboard data is managed by Windows and any other applications you choose to paste it into.
